Studio light here is close, controlled and raking — it skims across the surface instead of hitting it head-on, which is what makes pores, thread, beading and the grain of leather visible. Choose fabrics with real texture: sequins, knit, wool, wet-look silk. The emotion is reverence. When you light detail this carefully, the image says every surface — the cloth and her skin equally — was worth studying, not smoothing.
